<p><strong>Nashville-based shoe charity Soles4Souls&reg; to collect shoes at event for distribution in Haiti</strong></p>
<p>Great American Country TV star Storme Warren will host a concert event on Tuesday, February, 2, 2010 at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville when Screen Gems films a climactic scene for the feature film <em>Love Don&rsquo;t Let Me Down, </em>starring Oscar-winner Gwyneth Paltrow and Superstar Tim McGraw.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Audience members receive the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be featured as extras in a film as well as hear some great music, including live acoustic sets by the band The Lost Trailers (which will open for part of Tim McGraw&rsquo;s upcoming &ldquo;Southern Voice&rdquo; tour).</p>
<p>Admission is Free and participants must be at least eighteen-years-old.</p>
<p>The scene filmed will be the moment when superstar Kelly Canter, played by Gwyneth Paltrow, wows them at her big comeback concert.&nbsp; Playing Kelly&rsquo;s opening acts are <em>Gossip Girl </em>star Leighton Meester and Garrett Hedlund (<em>Tron Legacy), </em>who, like Paltrow, will perform original songs written by some of Nashville&rsquo;s hottest composers.</p>
<p>The actors will sing to pre-recorded playback as part of the filmmaking process.&nbsp; Other acts will perform live.</p>
<p>Tim McGraw, who will welcome the crowd, plays the non-singing role of Kelly&rsquo;s husband-manager.&nbsp; He hails the concert as &ldquo;an opportunity country fans won&rsquo;t want to miss.&nbsp; Gwyneth, Leighton and Garrett are sensational singers, the songs are great and the scene is really exciting.&nbsp; They&rsquo;ll also get the chance to hear my friends The Lost Trailers before we begin our tour on February 11<sup>th</sup>.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Throughout the event, Storme Warren will keep things hopping by introducing musical acts and distributing special prizes.&nbsp; <em>&nbsp;</em></p>

<title><![CDATA[Finish Line and Shoe Charity Partner for Haitian Relief]]></title>

<p>Soles4Souls and Finish Line have joined forces to bring shoes to victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti.</p>
<p>Finish Line will help collect footwear to support Soles4Souls&rsquo; commitment to donate more than 1 million pairs of shoes to affected areas. Beginning January 22, customers at Finish Line will have the opportunity to drop off a gently worn pair of shoes. All donations will directly support relief efforts.&nbsp; The retailer will also offer a $5 discount on a new pair of footwear with the donation of a gently worn pair, subject to certain terms and conditions.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Soles4Souls has partnered with other relief organizations to transport and distribute the aid. Thirty containers of supplies, including footwear, clothing, food, water, and medical supplies are already en route to Haiti.</p>

<p>The footwear organization is joining with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to help a dedicated community activist give back to her hometown.<br />&nbsp;<br />Soles4Souls, the shoe charity dedicated to giving shoes to people in need, will be featured prominently on the January 24th episode of ABC&rsquo;s hit television show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.&nbsp; In the episode, the charity is helping a devoted mom who is trying to provide for her family by giving back to her community with the gift of shoes.&nbsp; The episode will air Sunday night at 8:00 PM ET. &nbsp;<br /><br />Delores Powell, a Jamaican immigrant who moved to United States in search of the American dream, has struggled to make ends meet.&nbsp; After becoming a US citizen, she and her four children moved to Buffalo, NY in 2002 in search of affordable housing.&nbsp; After a year of living in an apartment, Dolores found what she believed was the jackpot: a six bedroom &ldquo;fixer upper.&rdquo;&nbsp; The seller failed to mention the home was on the city&rsquo;s demolition list and as a result, Delores had to beg the city for leniency.&nbsp; They agreed, and she has spent the last five and half years repairing it, but the home is still unlivable. &nbsp;<br /><br />Despite all of the trials, Delores still finds time to volunteer in her community through a local grassroots non-profit called &ldquo;PUSH Buffalo,&rdquo; that works to rebuild and improve the West Side of Buffalo. &nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;We are honored to be a part of such a unique and inspirational story,&rdquo; said Wayne Elsey, Founder and CEO of Soles4Souls. &ldquo;To be able to share in the show&rsquo;s message of hope and see a community touched by a woman who needed help herself is a true testament to how one person can make a difference.&rdquo; &nbsp;</p>
